Team Reports;

The J1’s Match Report
Team had a 6:15pm start at Burringbar Park against Commercial. It was a good spectator game Commercial had the upper hand with a 4 – 2 win against our boys. Jackson Baker had a run away goal, one on one with the Keeper, a good goal from Jackson. Next goal was from a drag flick from Ryan O’Flaherty off a short corner, it was a good drag flick from Ryan.
On the whole the team played well, but a few key players from Commercial dominated in the mid-field.
Well done Pine Rivers St.Andrews J1

J2/3 Match Report.

It was wet, very wet,  Then it rained some more. Game cancelled!!!

Under 13’s Match Report.

The Under 13s took on the challenge of facing Bulimba with real gusto on Saturday, showing a marked improvement on our performance when compared to last time we played this classy side.  The final result of a 7 nil loss did not reflect the competitiveness of the committed Saints, who played with confidence throughout and had a red hot go.  Whilst all players did their jobs admirably, special mention must go to our 'keeper Connor Robertson who made a string of superb saves to thwart some of Bulimba's most threatening attacks.
Keep up the great work boys - your coaches and all the parents are proud of your efforts so far this season and are really impressed with the high standard of hockey being played right across the field.

Under 11’s Match Report.

No reports from U11’s due to Wet weather.
The U11 side has been promoted to Division 1, due to the wins in the first two grading games.

Canteen report:

.and the rain came tumbling’ down. So was the story at the canteen on Saturday. Lots of rain (yes AFL play in the rain) but very few customers. Thank you to the helpers this week – Marianne, Bec, Taryn, Darrell, Dee-Anne and Marcus.
Friday was a busy day with the junior sports gala being held at Brendale. AFL and hockey were played in front of the canteen and other sports somewhere behind us. The gala day comps are a big fundraiser for the canteen and without the help of Michelle, Tonia, Sheena, Jillian, Lynne, Dee-Anne and Marcus the day would not have been at all successful.

Our next gala day will be Friday 11th June, 9-2.30, so new volunteers will be required for the day.

Weekly roster for canteen.
Please note there have been some changes from the roster in last weeks newsletter.
Tentative times will be 8.00am – 2.00pm. As I get the info from AFL times etc will be confirmed.
A minimum of 3 people required for each shift.
