NEWS/NOTICES
CODE OF CONDUCT

Over the past few weeks there have been a number of incidents involving Club members that have breached the Clubs Code of Conduct and or the Hockey Australia Member Protection Policy.

Once again all players and spectators are reminded that they are not to discriminate against, swear at, abuse or in any other way intimidate other players, officials or spectators.

All players and spectators must understand the impact such behaviour can have and that all members of the Brisbane Hockey Association must be able to enjoy hockey free from discriminatory behaviour.

REPRESENTATIVE NEWS
Congratulations to Connor Robertson, Chandan Smith and Connor Yates on their selection in the Brisbane U11 Coulter Shield sides. Well done from all the Club

BUNNINGS B-B-Q
The Club raised in excess of $2100 on Saturday at the Bunning’s B-B-Q. Thanks to those who attended and brought a sausage sandwich.

WET WEATHER INFORMATION
NOTICE TO ALL
The wet weather number to ring appears on the front page of the BHA Website (left hand side) and is: 1900 962 018

The menu of the BHA Wet Weather Hockey Information number has recently been updated to include additional venues to better reflect the different competitions and to speed up the process of accessing a particular menu option. The main announcement and menu is now as follows:

For information about matches and training at Brisbane Hockey venues please select from the following menu.

Press '1' for the State Hockey Centre
Press '2' for Burringbar Park
Press '3' for Redcliffe
Press '4' for Carina
Press '5' for Men's and Boys' Grass Fixtures
Press '6' for Downey and Rasey Parks.

Please note the following to save time and therefore call costs. When listening to the initial message (see above), and if the user already knows which selection they require, they can key in that option immediately and not wait for the menu to be fully read through.

At all times, each of the venues listed in the menu are responsible for making and updating the respective recording for their venue. With the exception of option 5 (Men's and Boys' Grass fixtures) the individual recordings for each venue should cover both training and fixtures. The Men's and Boys' Grass fixtures may (or may not) be relocated from time to time meaning that more than one venue may require access to update the recording.
