MATCH REPORTS
J1
The Junior fixtures commence last Friday with our J1 team facing Norths as the opening game of the 2010 junior season. As promised this was a match not to be missed. The game was a dower struggle that ended in a 1-1 draw. Saints had a number of opportunities and a lack of finishing cost us dearly as we had the majority of the play. Some great saves by our ‘keeper and final line of defence off the line keep us in the game when Norths did mount an attack.
At the conclusion of the game the J1 Coach Mitch Bolton pointed out to the boys that there is a lot of work to do if we are to be a threat come September.
